The 12-foot Mirage Passport takes you where you want to go with ease and world-class authority with pedal propulsion. When you’re not relaxing in the Passport’s breathable mesh seat, a wider cockpit area with EVA floor padding provides a stable platform for standing and stretching your legs or casting a lure. There’s plenty of real estate to stash equipment on the bow or stern cargo areas and more below deck access through the center 8” Twist-n-Seal hatch. Anglers will be happy that the Passport 12 has a transducer cavity and scupper for simple install of your favorite fishfinder and a Power-Pole® Micro bracket indent to mount your favorite shallow water anchor. Additional features include steering system with stowable rudder, two fishing rod holders, accessory tracks, and under seat and gunnel tackle storage.

Features

Classic Mirage Drive – A simple and easy-to-maintain Mirage Drive fitted with ST (Square Tip) Fins. Adjustable pedal crank arms allow users of various heights to use the Hobie Mirage Passport 12 (2020). 

Suspended Mesh Aluminium Frame Seat – Featuring a breathable mesh fabric, and tilt adjustability for comfort. Optimally mounted at an ideal height for pedalling. Can also be removed for use as a beach chair too! 

Accessory Mounting Track – Accessory tracks make adding gear to your Passport easy! These tracks are compatible with popular track mounts from Yak Attack, Railblaza, Scotty and Ram Mounts. Add fish finder mounts, rod holders, camera mounts and more without drilling into your kayak. 

Transducer Cavity – The Hobie Mirage Passport 12 (2020) has a recessed transducer cavity for easier transducer mounting for fish finder installation. 

Twist & Seal Hatch and EVA Deck Pads – The Twist and Seal Hatch is simple to use and is hinged so you will never have to worry about losing the cover. The hatch allows you to store equipment below deck and is easily accessed from the seat. EVA deck pads offer a grippy standing surface for stand up fishing techniques. 

Rudder System – The Hobie Mirage Passport 12 (2020) comes with a simple rudder with a kick-up design. The rudder is controlled via a steering handle beside the seat and this moves the rudder using a push-pull rod design. The rudder blade must be manually deployed and hauled. 

Cargo Area with Rod Holders – Large storage area for all the gear you want to take out with you, with bungee tie downs keep it all secure. Two flush mounted rod holders are also fitted behind the seat. 

Two Piece Alloy Shaft Paddle – The Hobie Mirage Passport 12 (2020) comes complete with a two piece alloy shaft paddle that can be used for additional manoeuvrability or for when you are not peddling. When not in use the paddle can be stored in the handy hull paddle holder. 

Vertical Accessory Tube – A vertical accessory tube is fitted near the bow for use with the Hobie Sail Kit, Hobie Bimini and other accessory mounts.
